Christmas has finnaly rolled around after the long year of waiting for it. It's been 6 months since I got Boomer The Tumor, he's now a grand old 8 months old and terrifying Ivy as always. But, for some odd reason, Ivy has just gotten fatter and fatter. Last night, I decided to decorate our dear christmas tree, after coming home and seeing it was still standing even though we left boomer there all day to "watch" it. I started by having Pierce help me get all the decorations down from the attic, then went in the house and found Boomer laying under the christmas tree with an absurd, yet tired, looked on his face. I started by hanging the lights around the tree, and boy did Boomer help me with that. He helped me "unravel" all the lights by playing and attacking them. I then decided to turn them on, and scare the crap out of the poor little kitty when they got all bright and yellow. After finnaly getting all the lights around the tree, I got out the decorations, ya know, the round little balls that have dangling stuff on the end. Everytime I would hang one from the tree, some little orange terror would come out and grab it off the tree and run around with it, occasionaly actually grabbing it in his mouth and running off. A couple times I managed to get him by the scruff and tell him off for his bad "games". By then, I was about to kill that little cat, but for him we were just getting started. I found these yellow moon things, that had stars dangeling from it, oh gosh did the little tumor have a BLAST with those. When I had managed to get through decorating half the tree with the moons and other hanging decorations, I found these pearls on a string and started to hang those. Partway through I discovered that I couldnt pull any more, even though there was a large slack. I turneed around it see 'it" hanging on the end, waiting for more and to hitch a ride. By then, I was DONE with decorating that dumb tree, even though I was only half done. I will tell more later when I finish decorating the tree, if I ever get there.
Love, Mckenzie and Boomer
